The Orange Community is situated approximately 250 kilometres from Sydney CBD. The area covers 323 square kilometres. The residential population is 35,339 with 3,004 children aged 0 to 5 years (ABS Census 2006).
The Let’s Read program launched in Orange in 2011. Coordinated by The Smith Family, the Let's Read program has been invaluable for vulnerable families. Brighter Futures works with and fits well with the Incredible Years Parenting Program.
