The Let’s Read eLearning course has been nominated as a finalist for this year’s 2013 the e-learning industry association of Victoria eLearning Excellence Awards!
Let’s Read is an early years literacy initiative that engages professionals, families and communities to promote reading with children from birth.The Let’s Read eLearning course will be available to purchase from 30 September 2013. This accessible and interactive, online course supports professionals to:

establish an understanding of emergent literacy

understand the Let’s Read framework, including key messages, reading tips, tools and resources

develop skills and confidence to model Let’s Read strategies with families
-
use a strength-based approach to empower families to engage their children in early literacy promoting activities from birth

consider planning and evaluating strategies for implementing Let’s Read in their community
