Let’s Read endorsed services will work to improve literacy outcomes for children across Australia. This initiative supports services to enhance their delivery of early literacy programs assisting them to meet quality reforms by focusing on all elements of nationally relevant frameworks and standards. There is a particular emphasis on the Early Years Learning Framework to ensure children are confident, involved learners and effective communicators.
Let's Read endosed services will work with educators in early childhood settings to promote their important role in enhancing literacy and language development with children from birth. Services will undergo two phases to become Let's Read endorsed: completion of the Let's Read training program and completion of the endorsement accreditation.

Let’s Read endorsed services pilot with Goodstart Early Learning Centres
Goodstart Early Learning partnered with the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute to pilot the Let’s Read endorsement across 15 Goodstart sites in Victoria. This pilot built on the 2012 National Year of Reading and Goodstart Early Learning’s social inclusion objectives. Between October-November 2012 over 50 Goodstart Early Learning staff across these 15 centres successfully completed the Let’s Read face-to-face training. Read more about this training below.
Findings from the evaluation of this training in conjunction with the National Quality Framework standards will inform the development of the endorsement accreditation process. The implementation of this endorsement accreditation process will commence from May 2013. An evaluation of this pilot with the 15 participating Goodstart services will inform a national roll out of the Let’s Read endorsed service initiative across Australia.
