New Policy Brief

The new Policy Brief from the Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) 'Assessing the quality of early childhood education and care' is now available. The care of young children is increasingly a shared responsibility of families, communities, governments and private enterprise. What happens in early childhood education and care matters: neuroscience research is providing evidence about the vital importance of early environments on children’s learning and development trajectories.  It is participation in high quality programs, however, that delivers the greatest benefit for children.
